چکیده
Information on the water vapor distribution of troposphere is useful for weather monitoring and forecast. Water can be estimated from tropospheric delays produced by high-grade Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers. This type techniques currently used in data assimilation process Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) models, especially, limited areas covered these GNSS networks. We consider a new collaborative crowdsourcing-based alternative obtaining meteorology measurements. It relies smartphone receiver network, hence promises to expand use into not high-end In order assess feasibility estimating using such networks, it proposed system architecture that supports estimation network. Next, presented simulator test-bed has been developed emulate representative way performances. The main motivation behind provides controlled environment testing our method.

Tropospheric delay estimation and analysis using GPS and SAR interferometry
Spatially localized refractivity variations, mainly due to water vapor, are a major source of error in high-precision positioning techniques such as GPS and SAR interferometry. Refractivity induced delay variations can be misinterpreted as, e.g., crustal deformation signals or positioning biases. In this study, signal delay estimates based on SAR observations and simultaneous GPS time series ar...

The effect of troposphere on the signals emitted from global navigation satellite system (GNSS) satellites, appears as an extra delay in the measurement of the signal traveling from the satellite to receiver. This delay depends on the temperature, pressure, humidity as well as the transmitter and receiver antennas location. In GNSS positioning, tropospheric delay effects on accuracy of differen...

We have analyzed data from an experiment over the Madrid (Spain) area obtained from 5 GPS receivers and 3 Water Vapor Radiometers (WVR), in order to compare their retrievals of Tropospheric Slant Delays. For this purpose we have tted a simple gradient model to both types of data, using a Kalman lter to account for the temporal variability of the zenith and gradient parameters. We show that the ...

Falsifying Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data with a simulator or with a fake receiver can have a significant economic or safety impact in many transportation applications where Position, Velocity and Time (PVT) are used to enforce a regulation. In this context, the authentication of the source of the PVT data (i.e., the GNSS receiver) is a requirement since data faking can become a...

The potential of the SAGE (Space Alternating Generalized Expectation Maximization) algorithm for navigation systems in order to distinguish the line-of-sight signal (LOSS) is to be considered. The SAGE algorithm is a low-complexity generalization of the EM (Expectation-Maximization) algorithm, which iteratively approximates the maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) and has been successfully applie...
